This shader allows the creation of sprite objects that can be viewed from both sides that use the full suite of Unity's built in lighting effects including light cookies and shadows. This is an easy to use drop in shader that allows the user to specify a cutoff value and a color. Other than supporting two sided rendering and full lighting the shader behaves identically to a normal alpha cutoff shader. This shader is perfect for any sprite based game that wants to have the ambience only accomplishable by real lighting or the flexibility to allow sprites to rotate in 3d space. Unlike many other solutions that offer double sided sprites, this shader accomplishes the task in a single pass, allowing for maximum efficiency. This shader has decent mobile performance when not using real time shadows. This shader requires OpenGL ES 2.0 or greater, meaning it will work on most modern devices, will not work on some older devices.
