§ 03About this asset
Sixty interface icons, free, for commercial and personal projects. They are a cross-section of the nine categories in the full 500-icon Rasterloom set: interface and system, combat and magic, items and loot, crafting, stats and status, world and map, social, input and controls, and shop and economy. Same files, same quality, same licence as the paid pack. Nothing is watermarked and nothing is held back. ONE WHITE TEXTURE, EVERY UI STATE Every icon is a flat shape on transparency. On a dark interface, use the white set and tint it: Image.color in uGUI, or the SpriteRenderer colour in a 2D scene. One texture then serves the normal, hover, disabled, gold and danger states, with no second copy of the icon and no extra draw call. The demo scene cycles those five colours on all sixty so you can see it rather than take my word for it. On a light interface, tinting white down to near-black leaves you fighting the anti-aliased alpha at the edges, which reads as a grey fringe. That is what the black set is for. You will rarely need both. IMPORT SETTINGS ALREADY APPLIED Sprite (2D and UI), Filter Mode Bilinear, Compression None, mip maps off, Wrap Mode Clamp, Mesh Type Full Rect, Pixels Per Unit 256. Mip maps off and compression none are the two that matter for UI. A mipped icon goes soft the moment the canvas scales below 1:1, and block compression puts colour artefacts along the one-pixel edge of a flat shape, where there is nothing to hide them. DRAWN WITH CODE, NOT GENERATED Every icon is geometry on a 24 x 24 grid with a 2 px stroke, rendered by a program written for this set. Nothing is traced, photo-sourced or produced by an image generator. That is why five hundred of them share one optical weight: the grid and the stroke live in the code, not in a steady hand. WHAT IS IN THE PACK - 60 icons, 256 px PNG, in white and black - Demo scene: all sixty on a wall, camera tours them, tint cycles on Play - IconTint.cs and IconTourCamera.cs, plain UnityEngine, no render pipeline dependency, so they compile in Built-in, URP and HDRP alike - Documentation: contents by category, import notes, licence - Unity 2022.3 or newer LICENCE Royalty-free, unlimited commercial and personal projects, no attribution required. You may not resell or redistribute the icon files themselves as an asset pack.
