Energy Shield

Bring your shields to life! The Reactive 2D Shield is useful for adding visual spice, or for handling the health system of spaceships or platformer characters. Imagine flying through an asteroid field, the smaller debris burning up as it impacts the shield. Or use it to depict a mage shielding themselves. Features - Blue spaceship, 2 impact effects, shield rim effect, lightning effect, and red shield detonation effect are all included. - Spawn any prefab that can be rotated outward from the center of the shield, when an impact is detected. - Manage shield health from a single class variable, that all components respond to. - Set a reactivation timer to bring shield back up after a period of time. - Learn how to create 2D particle systems that respond to the status of the shield from examples and documentation. - Simple scripting; all scripts have a clear purpose, and are attached to the components they modify.
