🧩Compatibility
PlayMaker 2 is a new generation of PlayMaker and is not backward compatible with PlayMaker 1 projects. Existing PlayMaker 1 projects cannot be opened directly in PlayMaker 2.
PlayMaker 1 will continue to be available and supported for existing projects, while PlayMaker 2 is recommended for new projects.
🧪Beta
PlayMaker 2 is releasing first as a public beta.
It has already been in private beta for over a year, with extended testing and feedback shaping the current release. Public beta lets us validate PlayMaker 2 across the wider Unity ecosystem and respond quickly to edge cases, compatibility issues, and real-world production feedback.
