Starter Assets - Character Controllers | URP

First Person and Third Person Character Controllers are designed to work as a quick start into prototyping and developing character controllers for various game genres, using systems and methods that are easy to build and expand upon for different projects. Important note: - This package is compatible with Unity 6.3 LTS and older - The First/Third Person Starter Assets packages require the Input System and Cinemachine packages to work. The packages will automatically install when you import a Starter Assets package into your project. - If you restart the editor when prompted after activating the new input system, you may need to reimport this package as the editor will restart before the content of the package will be added to your project - If you are updating from a previous version, you need to manually delete the old version folder in the Package Manager The Starter Assets package includes: - A Third Person Armature character controller, fully rigged and animated using a Humanoid rig - The Robot Kyle character controller, fully rigged and animated using a Humanoid rig - A Third Person Capsule character controller - A First Person Capsule character controller - Playground Scene and level prototyping Prefabs - UI Toolkit overlays for mobile (Joystick) Get started - After downloading and importing the package into your project, you can load the sample Scene (called Playground) in the Sample folder Check Technical Details below to set up with URP or head over to the URP manual here.
